Nintendo Download: Mortal Kombat 1

Also,

It’s a fairly big week for the Nintendo eShop, as Mortal Kombat 1 is hitting the figurative stands, and is technically available now in early access with the typically-WB exclusive Shang Tsung character. Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster are out today, and Gloomhaven launches on Switch on September 18.

The latter is a really interesting release, as it’s a port of the digitized version of Gloomhaven proper: a massively successful board game Kickstarter that launched in 2017. Having played through the entire campaign I can attest to how fun it is with the right group, and while the digital version doesn’t quite hit the same for me, it’s fun to play through bite-sized missions on the go.
