Nintendo DLC: Phoenix Wright, Sonic & Knuckles, Scrabble

I had nearly forgotten it was Presidents Day in the U.S. today, until Nintendo reminded me that it was “packing a presidential punch” with today’s downloadable titles.

The fact is, however, that not a single one of these titles has anything to do with presidents, and it’s rather upsetting.

WiiWare

• Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: JUSTICE FOR ALL (Capcom, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points)

• Spaceball: Revolution (Virtual Toys, 1 player, 500 DSi Points)

• Real Soccer 2010 (Gameloft, 1-4 players, 800 DSi Points)
• Prehistorik Man (Interplay, 1 player, 800 DSi Points)

Virtual Console

• Sonic & Knuckles (SEGA on SEGA Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)

See? Nothing to do with presidents. Disappointing. Interesting selection this week though, with an older Game Boy Advance title making its appearance on DSiWare (Prehistorik Man), and a curious Nintendo-published title (Spotto!) for a mere two dollars.
