There’s other games this week among Nintendo’s downloadable offerings, but none of them are called SONSON. What a great name. It’s also a hard game, but that’s the kind I’m down with. Capcom’s classic is available this week. It’s weird, it has a monkey, and it comes from 1984. SonSon hits the Virtual Console today for 800 Wii Points. Capcom also has another offering on VC this week: Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando. It’s also 800 Wii Points.
For WiiWare the big game this week is the watery game Fluidity (1,200 Wii Points). You’ll use your Wii Remote to control all the forms of water in this unique game. Remember, there’s demos now, so you can try this out before you buy. There’s also a racing game called Racers’ Island – Crazy Areans (600 WP). Just in time for the holidays is Fireplacing, a 500 Wii Point virtual fireplace application.
DSiWare has three titles this week: Dairojo! Samurai Defenders (800 DSi Points) throws you back into the Edo period of Japan for some Ninja-themed tower defense action. It sports cute graphics, supports DS Download Play and even has riceballs. That’s a triple win, folks.
Space Ace — they dug it up, dusted it off and stuck it on the DSi for 800 points. Fellow musicians would like Rytmik Rock Edition, a musical sequencer that has 130 sound samples for drums, guitars, bass and more. Make your own beats and songs for 200 DSi Points.
What are you going to get this week, son?
