Nintendo DLC: Dolphins, predictions, and diaries

Recommended Videos

I was so ready to call this week’s DSiWare releases the same old stuff we’ve seen time and time again, but then something caught my eye. Something called 101 Dolphin Pets. We’re told to “Choose from more than 101 baby dolphins or simply adopt them all.” If only all of life’s problems were that easy to solve.

WiiWare

  • Magic Destiny (Shanblue Interactive, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)
  • Zombie Panic in Wonderland demo (Akaoni Studio, 1-2 players, free)
  • Racers’ Islands — Crazy Racers demo (Zallag, 1 player, free)

DSiWare

  • All-Star Air Hockey (Skyworks Interactive, 1 player, 200 DSi Points)
  • Mahjong (dtp young entertainment, 1-2 players, 200 DSi Points)
  • myDiary (Nnooo, 1 player, 200 DSi Points)
  • 101 Dolphin Pets (Teyon, 1 player, 500 DSi Points)

Like I said, this week isn’t particularly noteworthy. A couple of demos, which are appreciated, a game about predicting the future through seashells and fortune cookies, and the ambitious-sounding dolphin title. Odd part is, that’s totally normal for Nintendo’s downloadable content.
