Ninja Theory reveals Enslaved, says almost nil about it

Remember Ninja Theory? It’s the studio responsible for the PS3-exclusive Heavenly Sword — a third-person title in the vein of God of War starring a scantily clad and somewhat clever female lead. There were plans for a trilogy — in fact, it was said in 2007 that the second game was already written — but the developed dumped it in favor of another project. That project may have been revealed in the latest issue of gaming magazine Game Informer.

In the latest issue — in a blurb, really — it is revealed that Ninja Theory’s next title is called Enslaved. It’s set to be a “post-apocalyptic journey,” and, that’s really all that was stated. Well, other than plans for Namco-Bandai to publish the title across platforms.

We’re up for anything Ninja Theory has to show. Heavenly Sword was on the cusp of being a great title. If it just had a bit more polish — especially with the boss battles and SIX-AXIS motion crap — we’d probably be talking about it in a radically different way. Hopefully, we’ll get some more substantive information about Enslaved in the near future.
