It’s been a big news day for NieR fans. First we got a glimpse at this beautiful statue in production Prime 1 Studio. We later received a launch date for the long-awaited NieR Replicant on PC and consoles, and to complete the trifecta, Square Enix has confirmed that mobile title NieR Re[in]carnation will be heading west on iOS and Android devices.

Pre-registration has been opened for the Japanese version of the pocket-sized adventure on both the App Store and Google Play. In addition, English language accounts have been opened on both Facebook and Twitter. As a game, however, Re[in]carnation remains mostly shrouded in mystery.

We still don’t have an actual release date, nor was there much new information forthcoming regarding actual gameplay. It should be noted that producer Yoko Taro has previously confirmed that Re[in]carnation will be a free-to-play title and will feature microtransaction and gacha mechanics. You can check out a new trailer below.

NieR Re[in]carnation will launch at some point in the future on iOS and Android devices.
