Next-gen Final Fantasy headlines Square Enix’s E3 lineup

But I really just want to hear more about Soul Suspect

While Square Enix is increasingly becoming known for its wide-ranging, often quite good efforts as a publisher, there’s still going to be a lot of Final Fantasy talk next week in Los Angeles at E3 2013. Kicking off the company’s lineup are Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and a first look at the next-generation of the franchise.

Moving into admittedly much more compelling territory, E3 will also be the stage for Thief, the curious Murdered: Soul Suspect, and the sadly mobile-only Deus Ex: The Fall. We’ll get to see the Wii U Director’s Cut of Human Revolution and … Mini Ninjas for iOS and Android. That property must be doing well for Square Enix.

And since this is E3 we’re talking about here — the first for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, no less — there will undoubtedly be plenty of surprises.
