Along with its showing at PAX East soon, Bethesda is beginning to roll out all sorts of footage of Quake Champions. The first in a line of trailers highlighting the Champions themselves is for Nyx, a blue-haired gunner with the Active Ability “Ghost Walk,” which gives her brief invisibility and invulnerability. But what really gets my attention is her wall jump, which will definitely come in handy in game. 

I don’t know if I’m a fan of Quake Champions having characters with abilities, but the gameplay seen here looks appropriately fast and brutal. Besides, the series may just be evolving with the times. Remember to sign up for the closed beta and pray you get in.
