Newest Harry Potter game may support Kinect

Recommended Videos

In a new Walmart bundle listing for Microsoft’s Kinect, the newest Harry Potter game is listed as being compatible with the motion sensing device. We already knew about titles like Dance Central, Joy Ride, and Kinectimals, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was also grouped in with other Kinect titles.

It’s not anymore, though. The listings did read “Harry Potter: Deadly [sic] Hallows (Xbox 360/Kinect),” but it no longer does. Maybe Walmart let the cat out of the bag early?

Wouldn’t that be cool, though? Since the new HP game is a third-person shooter, it would be interesting to see how it would work with Kinect controls.

We’re hoping to get the real word from EA in the meantime.
