New Tomb Raider Underworld costume DLC features wettest suits ever

Eidos has released the second free costume pack for the Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider Underworld today, and we’re all absolutely thrilled about it here at Destructoid.

The pack contains two free costumes for out little tomb-raiding Lara Croft — a red wet suit and a blue wet suit. Once your 61.79 MB download is complete, the new costumes will be wearable in the game’s “Treasure Hunt” mode, of you can just select the new outfits when you start a level.

Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of Tomb Raider Underworld, and I’m not quite sure wet suits are going to turn around my opinion (although it’s a step in the right direction). I found the game to be frustrating, with large, and sometimes confusing environments and goals. It also didn’t help that the camera seemed to fight me at every turn while platforming.

As our own Conrad Zimmerman pointed out to me, that about sums up a Tomb Raider game; he didn’t really enjoy the game much more than I did, as evinced in our official review. But again, I’m not going to argue with free wet suits … or a free soundtrack.
