Capcom Japan released a new game play video of Tatsunoko VS Capcom, their upcoming Japan-only Wii brawler. In this video, Saki and Joe of Capcom go up against Ippatsuman and Doronjo of Tatsunoko, and it’s clear who has the upper hand.
The best part of this game play video is when Viewitiful Joe gets the spotlight. Joe’s super move is hilarious. Watch on as the Tatsunoko team hops on their tandem bike to get the hell away from Joe’s destructive attack.
In the gallery screenshots, you’ll also see images of Wii-only minigames from the characters. Saki’s game involves shooting meteorites out of the sky to defend space. The goal is to take down as man as you can before time runs out. Viewitiful Joe’s game looks a bit more fun. In it, you’ll photograph Joe on the move, aiming to get his whole body in frame.
Ippatsu’s minigame is a baseball target toss, while Doronjo’s has players tossing bombs at the player while they try to collect treasures.
Japan gets their turn December 11th. We’re still hoping.
