New Tales game is in development at Bandai Namco

That’s all we got for you so far

This weekend the Tales of Festival 2018 was held in Japan, celebrating over 20 years of the famous JRPG brand, which most-recently graced us with the cool Tales of Berseria on PS3, PS4 and PC, back in 2016.

As part of the festivities, an amusingly information-free video was screened, announcing that there is a new game in the long-running series currently in development. And that’s it. There was no art or footage, nor dates or platforms announced. But, if nothing else, at least fans can take comfort that something is on the way, especially given concerns since series’ producer Hideo Baba left Bandai Namco for a role at Square Enix.

Hopefully we’ll receive some more info on this mysterious new title in the coming months. In the meantime, fans can take delight in last week’s announcement that the 2008 classic, Tales of Vesperia, is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch in Definitive Edition form, at the end of the year.
