Today at the Dengeki Bunko Festival in Tokyo, Bandai Namco revealed Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, the latest role-playing game based on Reki Kawahara’s popular light novel series.

The story takes place within “Sword Art: Origin,” a new MMO modeled after the world of Aincrad.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita title is currently targeting a 2016 launch in Japan. Bandai Namco has not revealed any plans regarding a potential western release at this time.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song, the follow-up to last year’s Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment set in the fairy realm of ALfheim Online, is coming to the Americas and Europe in November.
