Rebellion’s 1930’s-set adventure title Strange Brigade may not have hit the shelves yet, but that hasn’t stopped the developer starting up the hype train for the game’s post-release content with a new trailer showing off its upcoming DLC.

Strange Brigade is expected to get free content every month after its August launch, most of which is yet to be detailed, but the new trailer does focus on the co-op shooter’s Season Pass, which will give treasure hunters access to a new three-part campaign – including the not-at-all-scary-sounding Isle of the Dead – as well as access to exclusive characters, weapons and skins.

The new IP, which encourages multiplayer action à la Borderlands, sees a quartet of intrepid explorers disturb the sleep of the Witch Queen, Seteki, whilst digging about for loot in Egypt, just before the coming of WWII. Like any good tomb-hunting title, Strange Brigade will be full of hidden traps, secret passages, and untold, ancient evils, all of which must be vanquished to keep our heroes in cravat ties and moustache wax.

Strange Brigade is scheduled for launch August 28 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
