Shantae is one of those games that you either remember with incredibly fond feelings and wish for a sequel for or have never heard of. Originally released on the Game Boy Color, the platformer sent you off to Sequin Land in the role of Shantae, a half-genie with the ability to use her hair as a whip. In a recent email from Nintendo detailing their upcoming releases (which also gave us a release date for Spirit Tracks), we found Shantae: Risky’s Revenge listed at the very bottom. Slated for Q4, all we really know for now its that it will be a DSiWare title. We’ve contacted WayForward for comment and ought to have more information for you shortly. Seven years of waiting has finally paid off! I can’t wait!
