A fresh batch of screenshots for Capcom’s Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes has been released, and the images confirm my theory that all Asian-themed hack n’ slash games need the most absurd character costumes ever created. Just look at the old guy in the header image, with his ludicrous purple fork and fat carrot hat. This is what the noble art of samurai warfare has been turned into.
Gotta love it, really, and this undoubtedly camp Wii game is perhaps my most personally anticipated Capcom title of the year. Bear in mind that’s just my opinion, as I know sane and normal people are more excited for Dead Rising 2 or Okamiden. Please let this one freak look forward to his obscure hack n’ slash nonsense in peace.
