Zombie Studios wants to play a little game

Although we already got the first details on Zombie Studios’ PC horror game Daylight from an interview last week, the company has put out a proper announcement for the title. Built using Unreal Engine 4, Daylight focuses on replayability through its procedurally-generated world, which just so happens to be an abandoned hospital. Right. “Abandoned.”

“One thing I’ve learned from working on horror games in the past is that once you’ve played them you are never scared by them again,” says studio creative head Jared Gerritzen. “With Daylight we have built a system that will maintain the atmosphere of suspense no matter how many times you play it.”

The game will see a PC release via digital distribution this spring. For the time being, however, take a look at some additional screenshots included in the announcement.
