New screenshots for Guilty Gear Xrd show off the insanity

Bizarre and stylized fighter still shows it’s got the right stuff

There’s been a lot of buzz lately regarding the new fighter from Arc System Works. With several location tests going in Japan, fans are already getting some quality time with the title. Recently, we saw the return of Zato=One and the reveal of the brand new character, Bedman, who seems to be a homage to the underrated anime movie Roujin-Z. All in all, Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign looks to keep the series tradition of hyper stylized action and craziness going.

Over the last few months on the official GGXrd site, the developers have been gradually revealing more of the roster. As of now, the current lineup is Sol Badbuy, Ky Kiske, Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, Slayer, May, Potemkin, Axl Low, I-No, Venom, Faust, Zato=One, and the brand new character Bedman. It’s a pretty good set of characters so far, and we’ve got many more to look forward to.

To coincide with the reveal of the new characters, we’ve got a batch of new screenshots showing off the action. So check ’em out, and marvel at the beauty of Guilty Gear‘s new visuals. I’m still having a hard time remembering this a 3D game.
