Considering my high level of personal interest in the musical style called Vocaloid, I brought you as much news as possible on the Hatsune Miku PSP game Project Diva. While the game certainly presented ample amounts of fanservice for fans of the digital popstar, it also held up nicely as a fun rhythm title, and the sales were apparently pretty good. So good, in fact, that Alafista reports there is already a sequel in the works.
The rumor is that this game could be for an HD console rather than a portable, which would be a thrill for me as I’d love to play the series on a big pretty screen. The infamous Nico Nico Douga has already called to fans to submit their favorite Hatsune Miku songs for possible inclusion in the new game. Of course, this won’t be released in the US, so it’s looking like another import. Anyone other than me love the first game and happy to hear this news?
