During the single-player reveal this week, some of us were more interested in seeing the engine Battlefield 4 runs on than the actual game itself. I couldn’t help but daydream about how Frostbite 3 could be leveraged for development on non-first-person-shooters. According to OXM, over 10 game teams are using the tech.

To that end, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn has confirmed with Eurogamer that Dragon Age III: Inquisition and the next installment in the Mass Effect series will use Frostbite 3. Hardly surprising to hear at this point, but it’s always nice to have a confirmation.
