New Just Cause 3 patch coming ‘later’ this month

Expect new DLC later this month, too

The first instalment of Just Cause 3‘s Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass DLC – Sky Fortress – is almost complete.

“Whilst one side of the studio is working on patches, fixes and optimisations for the game, which will continue to roll out over the coming weeks, the other side is busily bringing this additional content to life,” an Avalanche rep wrote on the Just Cause 3 Steam page.

“The first pack – ‘Sky Fortress’ which is the “Air” pack – is nearing completion, and will bring new missions, features and other exciting surprises to the skies of Medici. We’re play-testing this content right now so watch this space for more news on this very soon.”

The team is keen to emphasise that this additional content is not coming at the expense of putting right the issues that have plagued the game since the launch.

“For those of you that are still having some issues with your game, rest assured that we’re working on optimisations, bug fixes, performance enhancements and improvements, and we’ll continue to roll these out as soon as they’re ready, with the next patch expected later in the month. We’re doing everything we can to get to the bottom of all the issues that are reported to us.”

If you continue to encounter issues, you’re advised to report them Square Enix’s Customer Support websites (EU: http://support.eu.square-enix.com/faqtop.php?id=12481&la=2
NA: http://support.na.square-enix.com/).

In our review, we gave Just Cause 3 a 8, saying: “it truly is an insane, explosion-filled romp through a beautiful nation chock-full of cheeky humor. It provides some of the best open-world tools ever. This is definitely a case of “it is what you make of it,” and for those with intrinsic motivation to make it the best will be greeted with just that.”
