New Hollow Knight patch goes bug bustin’ on Switch

Version.1345 now live

When Team Cherry’s unsettling but oddly transcendent platform adventure Hollow Knight dropped onto Nintendo Switch last month, it was pretty much a runaway success, shifting a quarter of a million downloads in its first fortnight.

However, nothing’s perfect, and as such developer Team Cherry has dropped a new update on the Switch release today, which will go some way toward squishing some irritating bugs and glitches that have been troubling some players, clearing the path for the creepy-cute protagonist to explore the game’s strange environments.

The full patch notes for Version.1345 can be found right here. For those who didn’t grab the title on launch, its worth remembering that a physical edition is planned for release at some point in the future, though no date has been set just yet.

Hollow Knight is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
