New Guild Wars: Eye of the North trailer

Footage of NCSoft’s first true expansion to the world of Guild Wars was shown to industry types behind closed doors at E3, but now a new trailer guides fans through this upcoming release called Eye of the North. See, you didn’t miss anything.

Guild Wars: Eye of the North takes players back to Tyria, the location of the original game. The trailer starts here and shows off some of the new features like the new Heroes, new minigames, and the massive Hall of Monuments. There’s also a peek at some of the 18 new sprawling, multi-level dungeons.

This expansion will serve as a sort of bridge to the previously announced Guild Wars 2, introducing some of the characters and features that it will eventually contain. Guild Wars: Eye of the North is still set to release on August 31st for $39.99.
