In this Making Of series video for Forza Motorsport 4 you’ll get a good look at the crazy amount of work that went into making the game’s Bernese Alps track.
These lucky bastards at Turn 10 get to go on an epic, multi-city trip to collect source material to make these tracks. I kind of hate them for that. But I love them for putting so much love into Forza 4. They took in loads of data at the surrounding locations and then brought it back to the Turn 10 offices to process.
You’ll also hear how they use their lighting engine to make settings like the Alps so realistic looking. I got to see this in action on this very track at E3. The end result was very impressive. In terms of visuals, Forza 4 manages to be even more realistic than its predecessor!
I can’t wait until October 20th.
