New footage and awful screenshots for Ninja Gaiden DS

I’ve been interested in getting Ninja Gaiden DS ever since I first heard about it. I do enjoy the crazy gore and gameplay of the console version but I guess I haven’t been paying close attention to this game apparently. I watched the video Dale posted on how you’re going to move in the game — I just never noticed that the how the screen looked like in the trailer. This is the first time I’m finding out that you have to hold your DS like a book, Brain Age style.  

The video shows Ryu fighting various enemies until he reaches the giant boss battle at the end of this video. It wouldn’t be a Ninja Gaiden game without a frustratingly hard boss fight, would it? Granted, this looked a little too easy. 

Expect the game to come out sometime in November.
