New Destructoid Episode: Twisted Golden Potato Gears 64

Recommended Videos

Whenever I finish shooting an episode of The Destructoid Show, and I think “Yeah! Nailed it!” I’m always horribly disappointed when I see the episode. Today was one of those days. Is it a good episode? I have no idea, but I drank like eight cups of coffee today, so it doesn’t matter because I’ve transformed into a peregrine falcon.

In terms of news, we had some badass stories today: the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta is underway, and Jim’s got nice things to say about it. As everyone already knows, Portal 2 comes out next week, but it might come out sooner if you guys play enough indie games. Fun fact: Twisted Metal looks awesome, and according to Dale’s preview, it plays awesome too.

Last but not least, our Bothan spies have stolen the plans for Nintendo’s newest space station. Er. Console. And by “plans,” I mean “rumors and speculations.” And by “Bothan spies,” I mean “other video game sites.” Also, I read on the internet that you can play Goldeneye 64 while dual-wielding N64 controllers.

Spoiler alert: I have no idea why the episode went up so fargin’ late. I wrote this post at 4PM PST. It’s now after midnight. I blame vicious cyborg barracudas.
