New countdown website references Prey 2

Possible announcement coming soon

I could never keep up with the official status of Prey 2. It was maybe cancelled, or just delayed, but also only in limbo, then just disappeared for a while? What I could keep up with was the intense excitement around the title, regardless of whether or not people played or enjoyed the first Prey.

Over the weekend, a countdown site with some mysterious symbols popped up, with references to Prey 2 in the source code. Currently, the only hint is the quote “Tommy needs your help,” referencing the first Prey‘s protagonist. A screengrab of the old source code, as nabbed by sneaky people around the Internet, points to a March 1 reveal date for the site.

What exactly could it be? Maybe a video teasing how Tommy will be involved with the events of Prey 2?
