There’s a reason why I hired a sports writer for Destructoid. It’s because Brett Favre is not a goblin. It looks like Blood Bowl — scheduled for a Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable release — is set to address that. 

The game is based on the board game of the same name, which resident table top enthusiast Conrad Zimmerman says he played “ten f**king years ago.” My response, of course, was that I don’t play those kinds of games. Tables, I told him, are for placing lamps on. Tables are for eating dinner on. 

“How uncivilized,” he remarked, “I eat my dinner on a plate.”

OK, he got me there, that smart bastard. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m looking forward to the digital version of Blood Bowl, scheduled to drop later this year.
