The prolonged development of Beyond Good & Evil 2 is the ride that just won’t end. Fans have eagerly, patiently tracked Ubisoft’s follow-up for years, and now here we are, back at square one.
In his latest Instagram tease, designer Michel Ancel shared artwork of a familiar rhino character with the following note: “Endangered species – now saved – Game in pre-production – Stay tuned!”
If that’s truly the case, I am curious how the project is looking these days compared to what we think (or at least what we once thought) a new Beyond Good & Evil would be like, to say nothing of any afore-rumored release plans. Shame we can’t just hibernate until this game is finished.
