It’s taken them awhile, but it looks like THQ is finally ready to support its Smackdown vs. Raw games with substantial downloadable content. The publisher has just released a slew of new stuff for Smackdown vs. Raw 2011, including new wrestlers, gear, and even an arena.
New superstars added to the mix include British Bulldog, Lex Luger, Wade Barrett, David Otunga, and Justin Gabriel. Alternate ring attire for Layla, Shaun Michaels, and Shad has also been added. You’ll be able to take your bouts to the WWE NXT arena, which is also a part of the latest content package.
The content is available to anyone who paid for the “Fan Axxess” program, which gives players full access to all of the game’s current and future DLC for a one-time payment of 800 MS Points, or $9.99. If you didn’t pony up the cash for that up front, the pack will be available for 560 MS Points, or $6.99. It doesn’t look like THQ is selling the wrestlers and items individually though; if you just want The Total Package, you’ll have to buy the total package.
