Need for Speed: Undercover aims to take Cops and Robbers to the extreme

Races, in a racing game? OLD! Cops and Robbers in a racing game? Uh, new … I think? Well, at least it’s new for the Need for Speed series, anyway.

Need for Speed: Undercover pits two teams of 4 players against one another in “Cops ‘N Robbers,” an online mode that’s exactly what it sounds like. EA Black Box has even gone to the trouble of creating a video to highlight it so you don’t have to put that imagination of yours to work.

I hadn’t really been keeping an eye on Undercover thus far, but from what little I’m seeing in the clip above, I dig the lighting effects and the game itself actually looks like it could be fairly intense.
