Over the past four years, Carbine Studios has been working on a new intellectual property. We know it’s a massively multiplayer online game, and that it’ll be shown at gamescom.
Carbine executive producer Jeremy Gaffney has put up a blog post delving into the team’s vision. “We have a number of ideas we’ve developed over time about what we think is important in gaming — we think it’s about letting players play how they want, when they want, and with whom they want.”
The reveal will supposedly “be different from the standard game project announcement,” according to NCsoft, and is scheduled to go down at 9:15am CEST on August 17. They’re also bringing the game to PAX Prime a couple of weeks later.
