Natural Doctrine videos show uninterrupted gameplay, bare thighs

Hah, okay, this is still a bit confusing. I’m still not sure how the boxes work. Maybe they’re range stat based and actions doesn’t take moves separately from movement. But then why would there be a series of boxes? Also, why do all the women have exposed thighs?

Hopefully all these questions will be cleared up in a Western release of Natural Doctrine — or Natty Doc. With it being headed by the director of Patapon, I’m still intrigued, even though it looks a bit bland and the main character’s name is Jeff. There could be an excellent turn-based system under all of this, but the videos raise as many questions as they answer for me.
