To celebrate Pac-Man’s 30th anniversary, Namco Bandai teamed up with Japanese sweets company Meiji to make some sweets that will be branded with the little yellow puck himself. A variety of milks, coffee and puddings will feature Pac-Man and his ghost buddies on the packaging. I love how Pac-Man is going after the food he’s promoting on each packaging.
Akihabara News says that each package will come with a QR code to access one dedicated Pac-Man character to keep on your mobile phone. Some will give you access to play Pac-Man Reborn on your mobile phone, iPhones included.
Of course, this is a Japan-only thing.
