Mortal Kombat X’s first-person Krypt mode returns, with new enemies and equipment

A perfect way to get me to unlock everything

Mortal Kombat X will be available tomorrow for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, and you’ll definitely want to boot up the Krypt a few rounds of exploration. Just like the 2011 reboot the first-person view is back, with a full map to walk about in, secrets to find, and enemies to fight.

So far it isn’t quite as open as the last iteration, but NetherRealm really nailed the atmosphere this time around and there are a number of different themed areas involved. Check it out in the brief video above to get an idea of what to expect, and what type of unlocks are included. The video below is a more comprehensive walkthrough through every area.

Keep in mind there are obvious spoilers involved for unlocks, including the one secret story mode character.
