If you wanted a demo for Mortal Kombat X, prepare to be disappointed. Creator Ed Boon took to Twitter to answer fan questions, and during that session he confirmed that there will not be a demo for the game at all.

Producer Shaun Himmerick elaborated, stating that instead of focusing on a demo, they wanted to make the launch version better. He also went on to say that we will be getting a new character reveal trailer soon. Finally, Himmerick confirmed that the Season Pass (called the Kombat pack) will consist of four “full characters” and five skin packs (15 skins).
