Midway has announced that it is “expecting” Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe to be on store shelves on November 16 in North America (November 21 in Europe).
While I do wish they had a bit more confidence — “expecting” seems a bit non-committal — this is good news indeed. While there are many games hitting this holiday season, many of them focus on single-player or online multiplayer experiences. Based on what we played at E3 and Penny Arcade Expo, MK vs. DC looks like it will provide a solid head-to-head experience that lends itself well to sitting on the couch with a friend and a six pack.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will be available on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Which console (if any) will you be picking the game up on?
