Mortal Kombat-inspired album being released

This April, WaterTower Music and Teenage Riot Records will release Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors. Yes, we’re talking about an album full of music inspired by the fighting franchise, preferably with no one shouting “MORTAL KOMBAT!” as a chorus.

The album is being produced by JFK, one half of the electronic duo MSTRKRFT. You can get a peek at what’s in store in this latest game trailer, focused on Mileena — it features the track “Mileena’s Theme” by Tokimonsta. You can actually get the full track, the first single off the album, on iTunes, iTunes Canada, and Amazon.
