More evidence points to February 2 release for Apex Legends on Switch

A new listing on Amazon Japan suggests that Respawn Entertainment’s sci-fi multiplayer shooter Apex Legends is headed to Nintendo switch on February 2. The retailer has opened a new pre-order page for the battle royale release, currently available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

This is the second appearance of that specific calendar date, following a swiftly-removed reference to February 2 that was made in the blurb of a recent trailer. The Amazon listing itself advertises Apex Legends: Champion Edition, which includes the base game, all post-release characters to date, a selection of Legendary skins, and 1,000 Apex coins.

Conveniently, February 2 also marks the launch of Apex Legends’ eighth season, “Mayhem”, which brings with it a new champion – the reckless and destructive Fuse – alongside an “Obliterated” variant of King’s Canyon.
