More details on weird-sounding Gotham City Impostors

I can’t have been the only one to do a double take when word about Monolith Production’s Gotham City Impostors got out. Warner Bros. has sent over additional information, including the targeted platforms: PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360 — all via digital distribution.

The game is described by senior VP of production and development Samantha Ryan as “an exaggerated take on first-person shooters.” We already know that this is a multiplayer-centric game featuring teams of, well, impostors.

It seems there is a focus on customization, with “insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets, and a wide range of traditional and imagined weapons” all at your disposal. There’s also a teaser site here, but it’s extremely limited right now. I’m eager to see the art direction.
