More details on Fallout: New Vegas’ Dead Money add-on

December 21 is when Fallout: New Vegas gets its first taste of downloadable content (on Xbox 360, anyway), and now we have more information on what exactly it will entail. Senior designer Chris Avellone summed up “Dead Money” in a recent Bethesda Softworks newsletter.

The backdrop for this add-on is the Sierra Madre, a mysterious resort that’s been engulfed by a toxic cloud and left generally untouched by the war-torn outside world. Bad dudes in hazmat suits can be seen roaming around the city, and apparently the Brotherhood of Steel’s Father Elijah was the only one to ever make it out alive.

Sounds intriguing. Ten dollars’ worth of intriguing? It’s too early to tell.
