Crossover gear to be ‘won’ in Extra Battle mode

Capcom have announced, via the Capcom Unity blog, that three new skins based on the upcoming Monster Hunter: World, will be landing in Street Fighter V this Spring.

The rad costumes, which will be for Ken, Ibuki and R. Mika, can be obtained over March and into April through the game’s smoke-and-mirrors Extra Battle mode, which sees players win prizes that they essentially paid for anyway.

Players wanting to bag the cool new gear must complete a series of weekly challenges, with each challenge costing Fight Money to enter. Once all of the challenges are complete, the player will be rewarded with the costumes. All in, the challenges will cost 30,000 FM, (perhaps more should you fail and need to re-try any objectives). This is currently the only way to pick up this exclusive gear, so make sure you don’t miss out. The first Extra Battle Monster Hunter challenge goes live on March 8.

Street Fighter V: AE is available now on PC and PS4.
