Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is getting a Switch demo tomorrow

Give it a shot

The time has come for Monster Hunter Generations to spread its wings off of the 3DS and out of Japan.

Those two things are mighty specific, but Japan has been sitting on the Switch version of Generations — an HD port as it were — for roughly a year now. It’s set to debut on western shores on August 28, but before then you’ll get a chance to try before you buy. Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be playable tomorrow with all six hunting styles. As a reminder these are just variations, as all 14 weapons from the previous generation are still intact.

While Generations preserved the legacy of the original series just fine, I was already ready to jump into World and I haven’t looked back.
