What could it be?
Game Atelier has noted on Twitter that it is once again teaming up with publisher FDG Entertainment on a new mystery title. The two teams collaborated in 2018 for the charming retro platformer Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom.
Taking its inspiration from 1989 Sega Master System release Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap, Monster Boy paid homage with a delightful adventure featuring a young hero who can transform into a selection of uniquely-skilled anthro characters. The game was a critical success and was particularly popular with Nintendo Switch owners, raking in eight times the sales of the PS4 and Xbox One ports combined.
Whatever Atelier has in the works, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on, and hopefully we’ll hear more details on the studio next release soon. In the meantime, Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
We’re so proud to team up again with @FDG_Games and their truly brilliant team, who helped us making #MonsterBoyGame. We can’t wait to show you more. Stay tuned! https://t.co/2wwEzlY8mY
