Monopoly GO’s Partners event occurs once a month, and with this comes the process of collecting thousands of event tokens to spin the event wheel. Giving away your tokens is a great way to help others after you reach the grand prize, but unfortunately, giving away tokens isn’t possible.
Can you gift Partners event tokens in Monopoly GO?
No, you can’t directly gift your tokens to others during an ongoing Partners event. The only way to give tokens to your partner is to spin the points wheel and land on the “partner” space. Doing this rewards your partner with tokens equal to the amount you used during the spin.
For example, you can’t gift your wheel tokens to others during the Hot Rod Partners event. However, you can spin the wheel and land on the partner space, giving them free wheel tokens they can redeem through their friend menu.
Aside from this, you can’t give your tokens to any of your partners. If you have some to spare, you can use them to max out your points with others until you reach the grand prize. Once you reach the grand prize, your wheel tokens will convert to cash after the event ends, allowing you to boost your bank balance and potentially upgrade one of your landmarks.
Unfortunately, this also means you can’t directly help a friend or family member get more tokens unless you still need points with them. Once you reach the maximum points, you won’t be able to spin the wheel and land on the partner tile. In other words, they’ll have to collect tokens or rely on their other three partners to carry some of the weight.
There are a couple of ways around this, depending on how much you trust your luck. If you already know you’ll have spare tokens at the end of an event, you can make a deal with your friend to collect most of the points while they focus on other partners. That way, you can use your points to help them, allowing them to progress elsewhere and potentially get the grand prize without needing thousands of extra tokens. That way, even if you don’t gift tokens, you’re still helping them get Partners event rewards.
