Once the Galactic Treasures event ends, each laser gun will convert to cash, allowing you to get extra money towards your landmark upgrades. Outside of that, the process is the same as usual, with you collecting points around your Monopoly GO board and progressing through each milestone to receive rewards.
How to score points in the Monopoly GO Moon Walkers event
During Monopoly GO’s Moon Walkers event, scoring points requires landing on Tax and Utility tiles. Below are the base point values for each:
- Utility tiles: Two points
- Tax tiles: Three points
Your best strategy for this iteration of the Moon Walkers event is to watch for one of the four utility and tax tiles on the board before changing your multipliers based on their distance. For example, if you wanted one or two spaces away from the next event spot, lower your dice multiplier until you get close to the next one. Similarly, if you’re between six to eight tiles away, maximize your dice rolls, as this range gives you the highest odds of landing on the right spot. While it’s not guaranteed, your chances of rolling a six, seven, or eight are much higher than any other number.
