How to score points during the Monopoly GO Key to the City event

Obtaining points during Monopoly GO’s Key to the City event requires landing on corner tiles. Below is a list of the four tiles that’ll net you points:

  • Go
  • Visiting Jail
  • Free Parking
  • Jail

Landing on one of these four tiles gives you four base points, with dice multipliers increasing this value. In other words, while a one-dice multiplier gives you four points, a 100-times multiplier grants you 400.

Your go-to strategy for obtaining maximum points is changing your dice rolls depending on how close you are to the next space. While you’re unlikely to land on a tile that’s one or two spots away, spots between six to eight tiles away have a high chance of appearing on your dice, making them a great opportunity to get some points. However, you’re not guaranteed to roll this every time, so be sure to have some extra dice on hand, just in case.
