Mojang considering PlayStation version of Minecraft

With no plans for a Wii U version

iGamer spoke with Minecraft lead designer Jens Bergensten who revealed the possibility of a PlayStation version of their popular game.

“Microsoft has an exclusivity deal for consoles. When it runs out we’ll consider Minecraft for PlayStation, but Wii U is very unlikely.”

Shame that a Wii U version might not happen, especially as the GamePad would lend itself really well. And while Jens didn’t exactly specify if this would be coming out for the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita, it would be ridiculous for them to not do some kind of Cross-Buy option were it available for both.
