Modern Warfare 2 makes one billion dollars

Here’s a huge shocker for anybody who doesn’t know anything about videogames: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has made a lot of money. The game, which is still topping charts and selling ludicrous amounts, has made over $1 billion worldwide since its release last November. That is a lot. 

In the first five days of release, the game sold an estimated $550 million, raking in more cash than blockbuster movies such as James Cameron Presents James Cameron’s Avatar By James Cameron and Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince. 

Bobby Kotick is rumored to have now fitted his penis with a special valve that replaces his semen with warm liquid gold, and demands that his friends, family and employees refer to him only as The Man With The Million Dollar Orgasm.

billion mark in retail sales worldwide since its launch in November,

In its first five days alone, the game sold an estimated $550 million

worldwide, outpacing five-day worldwide theatrical box office gross

figures for such films as Avatar, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood
