Mobius Final Fantasy will debut on western shores on August 3, Square Enix announced this week.

Although it’s a free-to-play game for smartphones, Mobius Final Fantasy aims to deliver a console-quality experience, and, if nothing else, it certainly seems to succeed in the visual arena.

Square Enix is currently soliciting prospective players to pre-register for the game in exchange for Final Fantasy X-themed items, like Tidus’ sword “Brotherhood,” and other special items.

Mobius Final Fantasy has been available via Japanese mobile marketplaces since June 4, 2015.

This localization follows the recent release of Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, another impressive-looking smartphone RPG, which was developed in collaboration with Japanese mobile gaming studio Gumi.
